Overview
Jaime Uziel (pronounced: "Jay-Me" "You-Zeal") became Partner in 2007 and was our law firm's Senior Associate Attorney since 1998. He specializes in matters concerning real estate, landlord-tenant law, private sale (FSBO) transactions, premises liability, commercial disputes, and general civil liability cases. In addition to his membership in the California State Bar, Jaime is a licensed California Real Estate Broker (licensed since 1991) and a member of the National, California, and San Francisco Associations of Realtors.®

Jaime is an experienced litigator in the fields of real estate law, landlord-tenant law, rent control law, premises liability, landlord liability, business, contract disputes, and tort and personal injury claims. He has an established record of winning trials and judgments in Bay Area Superior Courts, private arbitrations, and San Francisco Rent Board arbitrations. Jaime has extensive experience in a broad range of transactional matters. He has also worked on 150+ private sale (FSBO or For-Sale-By-Owner) transactions at very affordable costs, helping clients save millions of dollars. Jaime is trusted and respected by clients, the Courts, and his adversaries for his integrity, approachability, attentiveness to detail, and effectiveness in resolving claims. What sets Jaime apart from most other attorneys is his uncanny ability to connect with his clients on a personal, yet professional level. His clients implicitly trust him and repeatedly turn to him for counsel and guidance, placing their faith in him to understand their goals and passionately accomplish the results they seek. Jaime graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he was a member of Law Review and earned his Certification in Real Estate Law "With Distinction." He received his bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Prior to practicing law, Jaime worked as a real estate broker for many years at Citibrokers Real Estate, an established Bay Area real estate sales and management company. For several years starting in the spring of 2009, Jaime served as co-chair of the Real Property Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and Jaime has frequently lectured other attorneys and real estate professionals on real estate and landlord-tenant issues.
