The Nelson Law Group was founded by Robert S. Nelson, who learned the practice of law in some of the best-known labor and employment firms in the country. The firm prides itself on providing big firm expertise at small firm costs.

Mr. Nelson has served as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer of employment law at Stanford Law School. He has also written numerous articles that have appeared in legal and trade publications, the California Chamber of Commerce newsletter, and various law journals.

Currently under the investigation by the California Bar Association for alleged: (a) refusal to follow client's instructions, (b) failure to communicate with client, (c) treating the client in a profane manner, (d) fraternizing with the opposing site counsel, (e) unilaterally terminating the engagement, (f) failure to provide itemized invoice, (g) failure to refund the prepaid but unearned fee, (h) attempted padding of his legal fees [alleged violations of the California Bar Association Rules 1.1(a), 1.3(a), 1.4(a)(1)(2)(3), 1.4.1(a), 1.5(3), 1.16(d), 1.16(e)(2)].
