Sebastian worked as a family law attorney in Los Angeles, CA and Honolulu, HI – focusing primarily on complex dissolution and legal separation matters, child custody disputes, and domestic violence restraining orders.
He is passionate about assisting families through difficult times with care and compassion, guiding them through the complexities of divorce proceedings with thoroughness and a keen understanding of family dynamics. Sebastian is highly experienced in helping clients negotiate spousal support agreements, prepare for divorce or custody trials, and divide assets equitably in pursuit of their desired outcome.
He approaches each case with understanding, professionalism, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that his client’s rights are not violated. With a comprehensive knowledge of the legal system, Sebastian provides sound counsel to help individuals secure a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Sebastian was born in San Marino, California, and received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he defended a thesis on the negative effects of body trafficking in the Philippines. He also taught “Introduction to Global Politics” as part of a teaching internship at the University. While attending law school at Golden Gate University School of Law, he served as a Certified Law Clerk for the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic and Environmental Law and Justice Clinic. He brings these unique perspectives to his practice of family law.
Sebastian has focused the past twelve years of his practice on litigation complex family law matters in Request for Order Hearings as well as Trials in both Hawaii and California state courts. Sebastian has been recognized by Pasadena Magazine as a Top Attorney in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019; by National Trial Lawyers as “Top 40 under 40” in 2017, 2018, and 2019; and by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in 2021, 2022, and 2026.
Sebastian, who lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughters, is an Eagle Scout, avid fisherman, sailor, and loves spending time outdoors.
