Overview

William brings wide-ranging litigation experience in both the public and private sectors to his practice.

William's practice is focused on bad faith insurance litigation. He previously worked on mortgage litigation, with an emphasis on litigating allegations of fraudulent and unfair business practices by lenders and loan servicers, as well as predatory lending and wrongful foreclosure claims and alleged violations of California’s Homeowner Bill of Rights and related consumer protection laws.

Prior to his work in civil litigation, William was General Counsel and Director of Business Development for a publicly-traded company on the London Stock Exchange, where he handled matters ranging from initial public offering to capitalization and acquisitions. William's prior business experience informs his approach to finding practical solutions to complex litigation issues.

Prior to his burgeoning career in the private sector, William was honored to both intern and clerk for some of the most prestigious judges in the western U.S., including the Honorable Judge Procter Hug, Jr. of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Chief Judge Claire Eagan of the District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, and Chief Judge Robert Henry of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. His dedication to public service led him to the Denver District Attorney’s office, where he tried 18 jury trials to verdict as a Deputy District Attorney.

William graduated from the University of California, Hastings, College of the Law in 2012. He is an active instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA).

William is licensed to practice law in all state and federal district courts in California and Colorado.
