Verified ClientHired Attorney 2015Excellent communicator, prompt, efficient, and professional. I Explained that I was not familiar with the business for which I was seeking assistance, and Ms Zheng was patient and explanatory. Demonstrated familiarity with local and statewide regulatory issues about which I was inquiring . Offered additional help as needed .

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2014I was in need of someone to take care of my Misdemeanor and Infraction ticket. I was also a foreigner who has almost no knowledge of what to do, I tried calling and emailing several attorneys, most of them just ignore my problem and only want a winning case or not going to take the case. I was in lost, Lucy was nice enough to explain things in detail, kept updating things even before we made an actual contract, I was already convinced she would be the best attorney to represent me, since I can't be there because I am a tourist and I wouldn't be able to attend the court because I live overseas and have a job to go to. Long story short, she represented me on my court day, and everything went I wanted the result to be, I just want to thank Lucy and recommend her as a very professional attorney you can count on. If you have the time to read this, then I am sure you will be relief to know that she is trustworthy.

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2014I totally recommend Lucy Zheng. I looked them up after having a HUGE issue with my apartment complex. I called multiple places, and after speaking with Andrew about my case, I knew I would hire them. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding, & empathetic. Lucy & Andrew were always extremely quick to respond to my calls and emails. When I would speak to either of them about my case, I felt like they were not only listening, but they truly cared. I would definitely hire this Law Office again if I needed to. You are making the right choice by choosing Lucy Zheng.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
