Dr. Li is a seasoned trial lawyer who has handled cases in intellectual property (IP) and business litigation since 1999. Dr. Li is listed in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Over the years, Dr. Li has handled all types IP litigation including patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and right of publicity. He has also litigated many different types of business litigations, including contract, unfair competition, fiduciary duty, fraud, defamation, false light, legal malpractice, and employment. Dr. Li has conducted various jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration hearings. He has also argued various cases in federal and state appeal courts.
Dr. Li has exceptional strength in technology-related litigation. He studied biomedical electronics design and neuroscience before he went to law school. As a lawyer, he has handled cases involving a broad spectrum of technologies. On the electrical side, he has litigated IP cases involving:
- Digital and analog integrated circuit designs;
- Simulation software;
- Hardware description languages;
- Semiconductor manufacture;
- LCD panel design and manufacture;
