Madison Soltesz - San Jose, CA

Madison Soltesz is an attorney at Soltesz Law Group, where she brings a firm, persistent, and client-centered approach to criminal defense. Madison was introduced to the legal field at an early age through her father, a longtime public defender, who also coached her in mock trial. This early exposure shaped her understanding of advocacy, not only as a legal skill but as a responsibility to stand beside individuals during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Madison earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California, Santa Barbara, where she developed strong analytical and writing skills that continue to inform her legal practice.

During law school, she worked as a law clerk at a small firm, gaining exposure to multiple areas of law and developing a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and client interaction. This experience ultimately solidified her decision to pursue a career dedicated to defending individuals within the criminal justice system.

Since beginning her legal career, Madison has maintained a significant courtroom presence, appearing in court on a near-daily basis and advocating for clients across a range of criminal matters. She is known for her unwavering and persistent advocacy, as well as her ability to deliver strong oral arguments that lead to favorable outcomes, including dismissals and diversion placements. Madison approaches each case with strategic focus and a commitment to achieving the best possible result for her clients.

In addition to her courtroom work, Madison places a strong emphasis on the client experience. She understands that the legal system can be overwhelming, confusing, and, at times, dehumanizing. Madison is committed to ensuring that her clients feel heard, respected, and fully informed throughout every stage of their case.
