A California native, Mr. Burgis earned a B.S. degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003. In 2008, Mr. Burgis earned a J.D. from Southwestern Law School and was admitted to the California Bar.

Mr. Burgis began his career working with a respected Workers' Compensation law firm, where he quickly proved to be a top trial attorney, setting settlement and trial records. His consistent results have earned him prestigious recognition within the legal community. Mr. Burgis was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2014 to 2020, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
