Emilio F. Gonzalez - Tustin, CA

Emilio Gonzalez is a business litigator whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, consumer protection, privacy, and unfair competition matters, including claims arising under the TCPA, CIPA, CLRA, and UCL. He represents companies in state and federal courts throughout California and in jurisdictions across the country, advising clients from the earliest stages of a dispute through trial, arbitration, and resolution. His experience encompasses all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, law and motion practice, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial.

Before joining The Karlin Law Firm LLP, Emilio served as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for an ultra-high-net-worth family office for approximately fifteen years. In that role, he advised on litigation strategy, corporate governance, commercial transactions, real estate matters, contracts, employment issues, and regulatory compliance. His executive experience enables him to provide practical legal advice informed by firsthand experience managing businesses and evaluating risk.

In addition to his litigation practice, Emilio advises clients on leases, corporate governance, and other business transactions. He has represented businesses across a wide range of industries and understands that effective legal counsel requires balancing legal strategy with operational and financial objectives.

Outside the office, Emilio is an avid mountain biker, entrepreneur, and motorsports enthusiast. He founded and operated a bike shop and remains active in the mountain biking community through grassroots racing and trail advocacy.

Emilio earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California.
