Michael J. Karlin is a California-based attorney whose practice primarily focuses on ADA Access defense, as well as related business and real estate matters. Michael began practicing law with the Karlin Law Firm in 2010 after being admitted to the California State Bar and graduating with honors from Chapman University School of Law.
Through his Real Estate and Business law practice, Michael has become one of the leading ADA Defense litigation attorneys in California and has resolved a large number of the over 1,400 ADA Access Barrier defense cases for both small and large business and property owners. Michael understands the frustrations and complications of the current accessibility laws and knows how to guide his clients to the most cost-effective resolutions. Working with Certified Access Specialists (CASp), contractors, and architects, Michael has become well versed in what is feasible and cost effective when it comes to remediating ADA issues at a property or business and is able to advise his clients on how to best correct any violations. Michael always looks to provide his clients with well-rounded solutions to their issues by both resolving their current litigation matters and advising clients on how to best protect themselves from future ADA litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Michael received a BA with honors in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
