Hired Law firm 2005-2025As a property manager or an owner of a rental property, I highly recommend using this attorney. She is very knowledgeable of all of the laws and keeps you updated with current laws. She is the best attorney I've ever worked with, very professional and straightforward. Very fair when it comes to her legal fees as well.

Consulted Law firm 2021-2022I have autism and she is going all out and making sure I end up on the street because of mental health issues that I worked very hard on to fix and did everything they asked.

Consulted Law firm 2020Pamela Jackson is a fraud! She’s evicting a family of 4. Single mother with 3 kids which whom 1 is disabled! The family has paid their rent on time for 2 years and boom, the office decides they want their unit back and the family is getting evicted! For what? Another attorney has been hired for the case. I wouldn’t recommend this lady to evict my pets!

Consulted Law firm 2019I was evicted by Pamela C Jackson attorney’s for plaintiff it’s incredibly ridiculous that this attorney knows how to evict a person or a family but when ask how can I fix this eviction she said that she has no clue on the action to be taken, of course you pay the debt this I understand but to whom? I tried to call the plaintiff with no avail so let’s call the attorney that did the eviction but she has no clue in what steps to take to resolve this eviction. How is it you know how to evict but have no clue on how to resolve!!!?? Incredible, right what kind of attorney is this.... a bad one

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
