Jake's practice focuses on business transactions in the technology, software, media, advertising, marketing, and promotion industries. He helps clients in drafting and negotiating advertising, marketing and promotional services agreements, website hosting and development agreements, and licensing agreements. Jake also assists clients with the preparation of website/mobile application terms, conditions, and privacy policies. He counsels clients in various advertising, promotion, sweepstakes, and other trade and commercial matters, including drafting official rules for sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions.

Over the course of Jake's career, he has also advised clients on a vast array of HIPAA and other privacy law compliance matters. Unfortunately, privacy breach incidents are not uncommon in today's business world. Clients look to Jake for practical advice in navigating related notification and mitigation obligations and other legal compliance matters, and handling privacy complaints and related investigations.
