Mr. Barlev received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angles and his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University, School of Law. During law school, Mr. Barlev served two years as Associate Editor for Golden Gate University School of Law's Law Journal and was recognized for academic excellence during his law school years, making the Dean's list twice and receiving both a Witkin and a CALI award (highest honors) for courses taken.
While attending law school, Mr. Barlev served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Maria-Elena James, United States Federal Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of California and held an internship with the Construction Division of the San Francisco City Attorney's office.
Mr. Barlev is admitted to practice in all of the California courts including the United States District Court, Northern, Eastern, Central District and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Barlev has worked on various civil litigation matters, representing both defendants and plaintiffs in a wide variety of consumer and commercial disputes, both in and out of court and has assisted clients with resolution of their unique legal issues in a cost-efficient and effective manner.
