Jennifer Garner began her legal career with BPMNJ in 2019, where she first contributed on a contract basis, bringing valuable experience that led to her full-time role as an associate in 2022. Prior to her tenure with the firm, she gained substantial experience in estate planning and construction defect litigation, which continues to inform her multifaceted approach to legal practice.
Today, Jennifer focuses her practice on trust administration and litigation, probate administration, estate planning, conservatorships, and guardianships. Her diverse background enables her to navigate complex legal matters with insight and efficiency, offering thoughtful guidance to clients facing challenging transitions.
Jennifer is deeply committed to client communication and transparency. She prioritizes ensuring that her clients understand each stage of the legal process and feel confident that their interests are being protected. A Bay Area native, Jennifer has spent the majority of her legal career serving clients in Contra Costa County. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association, and the Contra Costa County Bar Association. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 1992, and her Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1996.
Outside of her legal practice, Jennifer enjoys traveling, gardening, listening to audiobooks, attending concerts, and cheering on her sons in their various sports endeavors. She resides in Clayton with her husband of over 25 years and their youngest son.
