Overview
Eldon Silverman is a well-respected litigator with over forty years' experience assisting clients with a range of litigation matters. Mr. Silverman is admitted to practice in the state courts of Colorado, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he received awards for the Best Oral Argument in the National Moot Court Competition at the 1970 New York City Finals. Mr. Silverman is the co-author of "Rights of the Debtor and Creditor to Retirement Plan Benefits," published in The Colorado Lawyer.
His practice involves all types of civil litigation, but over recent years, has been involved in attorney malpractice, business, real estate, and franchise/franchisor litigation.
Mr. Silverman is a former Legal Writing Instructor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and previously worked as a Litigation Attorney with the U.S. Department of Labor. He is a member of the Colorado and American Bar Associations and the Wyoming State Bar.
In addition to Mr. Silverman's practice, he is active in various mental health causes, and has on the board of The Karis Community, a transitional living facility, and Temple Micah. Recreationally, he enjoys his mountain cabin, RV, and bicycling.
