Julia K. Stutz is General Counsel at Gravis Law PLLC. She advises the executive team on corporate governance, compliance, risk management, employment, data privacy, commercial contracts, and vendor strategy. Julia partners with operations, finance, marketing, and IT to translate business goals into practical legal frameworks that support growth, client service, and sound decision making.

Before joining Gravis Law PLLC, Julia served as Senior Vice President of Legal and Risk and General Counsel at Trilon Group, where she supported rapid, multi-state expansion and built comprehensive compliance programs. Earlier, she was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Cardno, a global engineering and environmental firm, through its acquisition and integration into Stantec. She has also held leadership roles with the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Colorado chapter, including directing its Chief Legal Officer practice group and chairing legal operations initiatives.

Julia’s background spans technology, SaaS, healthcare, and professional services, giving her a broad view of how legal teams enable innovation while protecting the organization. She is known for building clear processes, right-sized policies, and collaborative partnerships that help business leaders move faster with less risk.

She earned a B.B.A., J.D., and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver and is based in the Denver metropolitan area.
