Robinson & Henry Attorney Alyssa Akre is a member of the firm’s Criminal Defense Team. As a former prosecutor, Alyssa has handled hundreds of criminal cases and litigated 45 jury trials, including vehicular homicide, sexual assaults, and other felonies in Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties. Now she uses that experience and insight to defend clients facing felony and misdemeanor crimes.
Alyssa assists clients facing complex criminal charges in various courts, including juvenile, county, and district courts. She is passionate about helping people thrust into an unfamiliar criminal justice system.
Representative matters- Prevented permanent protection order - Vacated temporary protection order and stopped PPO from being issued
- Defended against harassment charges - Obtained unsupervised deferred dismissal of harassment charges
- Preserved driving privileges - Resolved two traffic infractions to retain teen's driver's license
