Attorney Information
Overview
Mr. Campbell joined the firm in 2025. He is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in Colorado. He has experience with the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, the POWR Act, and the Colorado Wage Claim Act. He also brings well-rounded experience in the contract and insurance spaces, having worked as a plaintiff-side personal injury attorney and a defense attorney in workers’ compensation. More recently, Mr. Campbell helped rebuild an employment law group at his previous firm, where he counseled Colorado employers on handbook and official policy reviews, as well as compliance issues, employment terminations, and human resources matters.
Prior to law school, Mr. Campbell enjoyed a six-year career in the baseball industry – working in the front offices of the Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies. His experiences in professional sports fueled a keen interest in contracts, employment law, antitrust issues and collective bargaining. As a 1L at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Campbell was a team alternate with the law school’s baseball arbitration team and traveled to Tulane University to argue moot baseball salary cases at the International Baseball Arbitration Competition. He also later earned a certificate in alternative dispute resolution by mediating various civil disputes with the Denver small claims court and the local chapter of the Better Business Bureau.
Outside of the law, Mr. Campbell is a lifelong musician. He currently serves on the board of directors with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra: a nonprofit community orchestra dedicated to making classical music accessible and welcoming for people of diverse backgrounds. The DPO offers programming for underserved populations including the deaf and blind, as well as formerly incarcerated individuals. Patrons aged 18 and under are always free, and no one is ever turned away at the door.
Originally from New Hampshire, Mr. Campbell has called Colorado home since 2008. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with his BA in 2012. He earned his JD at the University of Denver in 2020.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
