Attorney Information
Overview
Lyndsey focuses her legal practice on estate planning matters, working in close partnership with individuals and families. She helps clients determine their estate planning goals and develop wills, trusts and other essential legal documents, and to navigate their roles and legal responsibilities during the probate process or through trust administration. For some, planning for the future and caring for loved ones also means maneuvering around real estate or small business challenges, family conflicts or other complexities. Having nearly 2 decades of legal experience, Lyndsey taps into her early experience as a litigator of a broad range of probate, contract, personal, business, and real estate disputes in her counsel as an estate planning specialist.
In addition to working directly with our clients, Lyndsey is our firm's managing attorney, overseeing our team and legal practice, which she founded in 2011 after working at a prominent downtown Denver law firm for several years.
My Approach
Whether your circumstances are simple and straightforward or riddled with complexity, estate matters are always personal and extraordinarily meaningful. I know how crucial it is to connect with and understand my clients' unique needs. My role — and my responsibility — is to provide my clients with thoughtful, detailed, and timely assistance, using my years of experience as a guide. My strength is in helping my clients understand their options, and in mapping out a common-sense path that meets their goals.
In addition to being an attorney, I'm also a mother and a wife, a daughter, a sister; I know, personally, how difficult it can be to balance our many responsibilities and plan for uncomfortable contingencies. I also understand how crucial and comforting it is to have a tailored set of estate planning documents on which your family can rely. I work hard to be the trusted advisor you call on to help navigate life's unexpected challenges, and to help achieve new goals along the way. I take tremendous pride in the long-term relationships I build with my clients and their families.
My Community
I am a fifth-generation Coloradan, born and raised in Denver, and live in Washington Park with my husband and children. My family and friends are deeply important to me, so I spend as much time with them as possible, whether we’re riding bikes through Denver’s beautiful parks, playing tennis, skiing, cooking or trying our city’s great new restaurants. I also love to travel; I may be at my happiest when exploring the world with my family.
My community is tremendously important to me. I have had the honor of serving as a board member, advisor, and volunteer with several organizations that are focused on building a strong community and supporting future generations. I've served on the boards of the following organizations:
- Anti-Defamation League (Mountain States Region)
- Colorado Agency for Jewish Education
- Denver Center for the Performing Arts Fourth Wall
- Jewish Women's Fund of Colorado
- MazelTot

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.
How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
