Attorney Donni Halvorson is a partner in the Connecticut law firm of Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen where she specializes in representing mesothelioma victims, including veterans.

Over the past 30 years, Attorney Halvorson has litigated over 1,500 individual asbestos claims against asbestos manufacturers, distributors, premise owners, and employers and has recovered multi-million-dollar mesothelioma claim settlements on her client's behalf.

Attorney Halvorson is dedicated to helping veterans who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma receive financial help through the VA claim process and veteran lawsuits filed against responsible asbestos-related companies. She also helps those who have become injured from occupational, household, and environmental exposure to asbestos.

In addition to being a litigator against corporate wrongdoers, Attorney Halvorson is a counselor who carefully and thoughtfully guides victims and their families through what will be one of the most difficult times in their lives. Attorney Halvorson's persistence and work ethic are key to the success she has had on behalf of her clients.

A native of Louisiana, Attorney Halvorson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans in 1984 and Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1989. She is the recipient of twelve American Jurisprudence Awards and two Student Bar Association Awards for excellence in fourteen diverse subjects. She also received the Honorable Robert A. Ainsworth, Jr. Award, and the Jack LaNasa Award for Excellence. Attorney Halvorson was also a Member of the Loyola Law Review and a Moot Court Semi-finalist.

Attorney Halvorson joined Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen in 2006. She is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Louisiana and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts and the United States Supreme Court.
