Overview

Nicholas was born and raised in Watertown, Connecticut and is a graduate of Watertown High School. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2007. While attending the University of Connecticut he served as the President of Omega Chi Epsilon and he was also a member of Tao Beta Pi, both highly selective engineering honor societies. Nicholas was employed for a time at Nalco Water Treatment Company and subsequent thereto, Nicholas attended law school at Quinnipiac University where he served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal. While studying at Quinnipiac University, Nicholas was employed by Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH where he drafted Office Action Responses in connection with pending pharmaceutical patent applications. Ultimately, Nicholas graduated Magna Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010.

Nicholas has been representing and advocating for clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and real estate matters since January 2011. He has enjoyed serving the needs of clients and believes that communication is crucial for adequate and successful representation.

Currently, he is the Managing Partner of Mancini Law in Watertown, Connecticut. Over the course of his legal career, he has handled multiple appeals at the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation appellate body, the Compensation Review Board (CRB), and the Connecticut Appellate Court. Under his leadership, Mancini Law has handled numerous personal injury, workers’ compensation, and real estate matters in just a few short years.

Nicholas is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut Italian-American Bar Association. He has been nominated as a Rising Star, a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation, by Super Lawyers from 2017 to 2023.

Nicholas remains active in his community; he is an active member of the Pontelandolfo Community Club in Waterbury, CT and is an active donor/sponsor/volunteer for the Susan B. Anthony Project, an organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual offenses. In his leisure time, Nicholas enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, gardening, photography, and 3D printing.
