Dacey Romberg is an Associate at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP.
At Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP, Dacey is working with a team of attorneys who are representing thousands of X Corp. (formerly Twitter) employees in a class action lawsuit alleging that the company reneged on paying promised severance benefits to laid-off employees.
Dacey received her law degree from the University of Tennessee and her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During law school, she worked as a Research Assistant for her Employment Law professor, served on the Pro Bono Executive Board, was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Extraordinary Professional Promise, and was recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court for providing a significant number of pro bono hours.
A member of the DC and Tennessee bars, Dacey has authored articles that appear in the Knoxville Bar Association magazine, DICTA. Dacey is also a Vice Chair of the Sierra Club DC Chapter’s Clean Energy Committee.
Before joining Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP, Dacey represented clients who had been wrongfully denied disability, health, and life insurance benefits and counseled organizations on employment laws and other compliance obligations.
When Dacey is not lawyering, she enjoys playing tennis, doing yoga, reading, crocheting, and learning Spanish.
