Hampton Watson is an Associate at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP.
Hampton received his law degree with honors, Order of the Coif from the Emory University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Yale University. While at Emory, Hampton served as Director of the Emory Law School Supreme Court Advocacy Program (ELSSCAP) and as an Articles Editor for the Emory Law Journal.
A member of the Maryland, Massachusetts, and Georgia bars, Hampton co-authored commentary on decisions of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination for the Massachusetts Discrimination Law Reporter from 2019-2022 and moderated CLE programs for the Boston Bar Association on whistleblower retaliation law as well as wage and hour law.
Before joining Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP, Hampton completed a clerkship for the Honorable Justin S. Anand, U.S. Magistrate Judge, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. After his clerkship, he was an associate at Hartley Michon Robb Hannon LLP in Boston, where he gained substantial experience in executive advocacy, employment law, and litigation.
When Hampton is not lawyering, he enjoys biking, jogging, and playing soccer.
