Stephanie L. Salek practices in the Firm’s Complex Litigation, Pharmaceutical Products, and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups. She has represented large pharmaceutical, automotive, oil, and consumer products companies in products liability litigation and toxic tort litigation in both federal and state courts across the country. Her experience includes all phases of litigation through trial.
Ms. Salek has authored a wide variety of motions and briefs, including summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and motions in limine on substantive, procedural, and evidentiary issues such as statutes of limitations, Iqbal / Twombly pleadings, forum non conveniens, failure to prosecute, products liability claims, breach of warranties, misrepresentation claims, preemption, punitive damages, exclusion of expert testimony, and discovery issues.
Ms. Salek’s experience also includes witness preparation, drafting expert witness direct and cross examination outlines, and taking depositions. She has represented pro bono clients in family law and immigration matters. She is a member of the Firm’s Recruitment Committee.
Ms. Salek graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College in 2006, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During the Fall of 2004, she attended Universidad de la Sede Prim in Madrid, Spain. She is proficient in Spanish.
