Mr. Schwartz received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian from the University of Florida in 1990. After graduation, he lived in Japan for several years, and he speaks fluent Japanese. Mr. Schwartz received his J.D. from the University of Hawaii in 2000, along with a certificate in Pacific-Asian Legal Studies. While attending law school, he was Executive Editor of the Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal (APLPJ) and was listed in Who's Who: American Law Students (19th ed.).
