Attorney Information

Overview

Merideth has been in the full-time practice of law for over twenty-three years with experience working for large and small companies, banks, developers, brokers, realtors and individual customers. She loves her life and is proud to be an attorney. Ms. Nagel does not identify herself through her many accomplishments, but rather in her ability to give of herself to others. She finds value in helping clients navigate the often difficult legal roads of life and business, and forging relationships with them based on mutual caring and respect—relationships she hopes will last a lifetime.

Ms. Nagel is a mother of three boys, ages 25, 16, and 9 and has been married for over 28 years to her high school sweetheart, the Rev. Dr. Leon Bloder, Senior Pastor of the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church. In her limited spare time, Ms. Nagel enjoys travel, scuba diving, boati and cooking. She is a rabid Florida State Seminoles and Denver Broncos football fan and has become a cut-throat fantasy footballer.

She is very active in the community, serving in the past and presently on almost every professional and civic board and non-profit in the area, including the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, the South Lake Community Foundation, the Lake County Education Foundation, the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, the Pig on the Pond board and Leadership Lake County.

The Law Firm of Merideth Nagel, P.A. opened its doors in 2005 with one focus — “changing the world one client at a time.” True to this mission, Merideth has dedicated her time to helping her clients face whatever life throws at them, and assembling a staff of lawyers and employees dedicated to making a difference. Ms. Nagel has focused her practice in Lake, Sumter, Orange and Marion counties, with offices centrally located in Clermont, Florida. She is available for consultation during regular business hours in person, via telephone, or Zoom, and after hours and on the weekend by appointment.
