The Main Law Firm's Clermont office serves South Lake County from 290 Citrus Tower Boulevard, just off Highway 27 near the Turnpike interchange.

South Lake County has grown faster than the roads serving it. Highway 27 and the Florida Turnpike carry long-haul freight, and the construction feeding new development in Clermont, Groveland, Minneola, and Four Corners puts dump trucks, concrete mixers, and work vehicles on those same roads all day. Crashes on high-speed corridors like these tend to produce serious injuries rather than fender benders.

Founder Jedediah "Jed" Main is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, a distinction held by only a small percentage of attorneys in the state. He specializes in commercial vehicle and trucking accidents and handles serious and catastrophic injury cases of all kinds, including car and motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, brain and spinal cord injuries, and premises liability.

Commercial truck cases are not simply larger car accidents. They are governed by federal motor carrier regulations, they often involve multiple insurers and corporate defendants, and they turn on evidence the trucking company controls, including driver logs and electronic data that can be lost within days if no one moves to preserve it. Crashes involving construction and work vehicles raise their own questions about who employed the driver and who is responsible for the company's safety practices.

Jed has been a trial lawyer for more than two decades. He began as a prosecutor and then spent years defending insurance companies before founding The Main Law Firm in 2010 to represent injured people. He knows how adjusters value a claim, because that used to be his job.

We keep an office here so South Lake County residents can meet with their lawyer without driving across the county. The firm is intentionally small. Jed personally oversees every case, and every client has his cell phone number.
