Please to not fall for the Abundance of vain and idle words of this individaul. The fact speaks for itself. I was billed for something that he had not even initiated. Was billed an Invoice , February 17, 2023 , for 3.5 hr. at 325.00 a total of $1,137.50 for a resolved matter. where he had not initiated the investigation of the matter , His First Letter February 23, 2023 was a letter of representation. address to Sir/Madam. I ask him to provide me all correspondence, email and name of the person he spoke to resolve the matter. He has none in filed. was not provided with any evidence that he resolves the matter. Ethical misconduct misrepresentation/Dishonesty Activity , Excessive fees that constitutes a breach of trust. He has acted 'illegal' means it is against the law. In an illegal act, the decision-making factor is the law. For an unethical act, the deciding agent is the man's own conscience. An unethical deed may be against morality but not against the law. Filed a complaint with the Florida Bar and Miami -Dade Consumer Protection. Till June 2023 it was resolve by me prosonally and he had the audacity to claim merit for the work I had done .

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
