Overview
Mr. Cuevas is the Managing Partner for Cuevas, Garcia & Torres, P.A. He oversees the firm's law departments in the practice areas of Condominium and Homeowner Association Law, Business Immigration Law, and Real Estate Law transactions. He is a member agent of Chicago Title Insurance Company. As such, Mr. Cuevas oversees the issuance of title insurance policies for the real estate transactions handled by Cuevas, Garcia & Torres, P.A., as well as our wholly owned title insurance company Vantage Property Title Company. Mr. Cuevas also has extensive experience in representing international business persons and investors in commercial/corporate and immigration transactions in the United States, and travels extensively throughout South America presenting investment and immigration seminars, as well as personalized appointments to international business persons. Mr. Cuevas is approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to present continuing educations seminars to licensed community association managers as well as providing education seminars to members Boards of Directors of community associations. On behalf of the firm, Mr. Cuevas is very active in lecturing on many topics related to community association law at either events sponsored by the firm or at community association and property management conventions/expos.
Mr. Cuevas is a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Community Associations Institute. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida for the practice of Federal Litigation.
