Overview
Following her graduation from law school, Emily joined the team of attorneys at Dabdoub Law Firm. Her practice focuses solely on disability insurance and ERISA.
As a disability insurance attorney at Dabdoub Law Firm, Emily represents clients across the nation against all major disability insurance companies, including Lincoln Financial, Hartford, Aetna, MetLife, Unum and more. She handles cases at every stage of a disability claim including initial claim filing, appeal and litigation.
Emily graduated from the University of Miami, School of Law earning the honors of cum laude. While in law school, she served on the executive board of the Hispanic Law Students Association, where she moderated a panel called "Identidad: What it means to be Hispanic in the Legal Field." Emily led the discussion covering identity, discrimination and the compromises often made by Hispanic attorneys in the field. She was also the staff editor for the Inter-American Law Review.
Emily earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Florida International University. While at FIU, Emily balanced full-time school and full-time work as a legal assistant for a debt collections law firm where she gained invaluable experience in a law practice.
