Jose H. Garcia is a Shareholder and Attorney at Cuevas, Garcia & Torres, P.A., where he focuses his practice on Real Estate Transactions and Litigation, Construction and Development Law, Community Association Law, and Commercial Litigation.

Mr. Garcia oversees the firm's Real Estate Practice, including its wholly owned title insurance company, Vantage Property Title Company, and its Construction and Development Practice. Mr. Garcia provides guidance to real estate developers in all aspects of residential and commercial acquisitions, sales, and development, and represents them in the negotiation and drafting of complex purchase and sale agreements, constructions contracts, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, financing documents, community association documents, easement agreements, declarations of restrictive covenants, utility agreements, and license and use agreements.

Mr. Garcia’s significant experience in real estate transactions includes drafting and negotiating loan documents, closing commercial and construction real estate loans, closing land acquisitions and sales, and closing hundreds of residential sales and purchases. In addition, his experience also includes representing developers at the time of community association turnover, drafting and negotiating on behalf of both landlords and tenants major lease agreements for residential, retail, warehouse, and office use, representing condominium associations and homeowners associations, drafting and negotiating company documents, and representing clients in contract disputes and commercial litigation matters, including construction defect claims.

Mr. Garcia received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, in 2007 and his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida, in 2011.
