Michael is a member of the Appellate Committee of the Florida Justice Association, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Miami Dade Justice Association, and the Florida Admiralty Trial Lawyers Association.
Michael graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University with a degree in Philosophy and Magna Cum Laude from St. Thomas University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate. Michael graduated ranked third in his class and gave the commencement address.
Michael is the author of the book "TRIUMPH," which was written in order to increase young Americans participation in Politics. Michael is also the Assistant Editor of the Cruise Line Law Reporter, which publishes information relevant to pertinent issues in Admiralty and Maritime law.
