Mr. Patel is an attorney with a broad and diverse legal background encompassing both transactional and litigation matters. With over a decade of legal and business expertise, Attorney Patel is a trusted advisor for clients navigating complex legal matters including real estate, business litigation, and small and medium sized business transactions. He has returned favorable results for clients as a negotiator, strategic planning consultant, state court litigator, and appellate attorney.
Additionally, Attorney Patel’s experience as a successful owner and manager of both domestic and international businesses gives him a unique perspective when advising clients and evaluating their issues and concerns.
Attorney Patel holds an LL.M. in Taxation with a concentration in International Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University, School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
While in law school, Attorney Patel was a member of honors organizations such as International Moot Court, the St. Thomas Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, the Mock Trial Team and competed at Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and both statewide and national mock trial competitions. Additionally, he earned merit scholarships and received excellence in academic achievement “Book Award” for multiple courses such as Transnational Litigation, Corporate Taxation Law, and Legal Writing.
Attorney Patel is active in the community and is a member of several organizations including the Florida Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, B.A.P.S. Charities (Public Affairs Director - Alabama Region), and the Hindu American Foundation.
