Mr. Foxman began his legal career after earning his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and completing his undergraduate studies at Florida State University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999 and quickly rose to prominence as an Assistant State Attorney. For over ten years, he prosecuted some of the region’s most complex and high-stakes criminal cases, including homicides and major felonies across many Florida counties.
As a former prosecutor and Circuit Court Judge, Attorney Foxman has presided over or litigated matters involving homicide, firearm offenses, violent assaults, and high-profile felonies. His courtroom experience includes leading roles in cases that garnered statewide attention, including trials involving life and capital punishment exposure. This extensive background gives him an unmatched ability to anticipate prosecutorial strategies and build strong, strategic defenses for his clients.
Mr. Foxman was elected Circuit Judge for Florida’s 7th Judicial Circuit, covering Volusia and Flagler counties in 2010. He served in that capacity for 14 years, earning reelection without opposition in both 2016 and 2022. As a judge, he presided over the criminal and family law divisions, including felony cases and the Flagler County Drug Court docket. He also held the prestigious distinction of being the Administrative Chief Judge of Flagler County and was Judiciary Death Qualified, allowing him to preside over capital cases involving the death penalty. In his role as an Administrative Family Judge, he was responsible for supervising all the Family Law Judges in the Circuit Court.
Throughout his judicial career, Judge Foxman was widely recognized for his fairness, integrity, and deep knowledge of the law. His courtroom was known for maintaining high standards of conduct, and his rulings reflected a balance of compassion and discipline, particularly in family law and rehabilitative criminal court matters.
In 2024, Mr. Foxman stepped down from the bench to return to private practice. He joined the respected firm of Doran Foxman Sims Wolfe & Yoon as a partner, where he continues to serve the legal needs of individuals and families across Volusia and Flagler Counties.
