Overview
With Ms. Beth Feder in your corner, you have someone who understands Florida personal injury law, knows how large insurance companies work, and isn’t afraid to battle against giant corporations if need be. Beth Feder believes that everyone deserves fair and just compensation, and she will do everything in her power to make sure that you get it and that those responsible do not hurt anyone in this way again.
Long before Beth Feder joined the Winston Law Firm to assist injury victims in their recovery, she was an eager and determined law student. The New Jersey native obtained her B.S. from Rutgers University before heading to New York City to study law at New York Law School.
As a student there, Ms. Feder served in the Student Senate and spearheaded the New York Law School first Domestic Violence Legal Project. The project partnered students with community agencies to assist victims of domestic violence throughout New York City.
After receiving her J.D. from New York Law School in 1997, Ms. Feder went on to practice in non-profit and private sectors in civil litigation, focusing on the areas of gender-based violence, family law, and matrimonial law. Beth has lectured extensively on issues such as domestic violence and matrimonial litigation, and lectured on behalf of the US State Department as a consultant in the area of gender-based violence. Following more than a decade of practicing this kind of civil litigation work in New York City, Ms. Feder moved to South Florida in 2009.
Since joining the Winston Law Firm in January 2015, Ms. Feder has successfully handled all types of personal injury claims, including but not limited to auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, property damage and wrongful death claims. In addition, she has become the firm’s go-to person for uncontested divorces and other family law matters.
Her diverse background has provided her with a unique view of the legal system and Florida personal injury law, which allows her to approach injury negligence cases in a way designed to protect victims’ rights and bring each case to a mutually beneficial conclusion.
Ms. Feder is an active member of many organizations around our community, including serving as the Treasurer and President of the Broward County Women Lawyer’s Association, and sitting on the Board of Directors for Counselors Advocating Resources for Everyone, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing free legal services to the elderly in the community. Ms. Feder is currently on the Board of Directors for Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida.
