Overview

Mr. Perez-Gurri was born in Miami, Florida and obtained his high school diploma from Christopher Columbus High School. He then attended and graduated from the University of Michigan (2002) with a degree in Political Science. Thereafter, Mr. Perez-Gurri attended and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law (2006) where he was a four semester scholarship student. While in law school, Mr. Perez-Gurri earned the Book Award for the highest grade in legal research and writing. He is a member of The Florida Bar (2006) and has been admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida. He has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice in the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Perez-Gurri's legal experience commenced when he started working with Mr. Geffin at Brooks Hermelee Geffin in 2000. He worked with that firm through his graduation from law school. After graduating Mr. Perez-Gurri worked as an associate with Hermlee Geffin, LLC. Then, in 2011, Mr. Perez-Gurri and Mr. Geffin formed GPG LAW. His practice areas include commercial litigation, construction litigation, complex litigation, probate litigation, family law, appellate law, cyber stalking and harassment law, and contract drafting. Mr. Perez-Gurri also provides general counsel services to several South Florida companies.
