Overview

Monica D. Offredi, Esq., concentrates her practice in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, distribution of marital assets and liabilities, alimony, child custody (called “timesharing” in Florida), parenting, and child support, paternity, enforcement and modification proceedings, stepparent adoptions, parental relocation, domestic violence matters, dependency actions, drafting and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and other matters dealing with family law. Monica has extensive experience litigating high-conflict divorces with high-net worth clients with complex financial assets and investments. In addition, Monica frequently serves as a Guardian ad Litem appointed by the Court to assess and determine the best interest of minor children involved in contested custody matters.

Monica believes in providing personal attention and the highest quality of legal services to her clients. Monica understands the emotional difficulty her clients face, this is why Monica ensures she makes herself accessible and available, knowing the importance of continuing communication throughout the process.

Immediately prior to joining the Law Office of Forrest & Forrest, PLLC, Monica was a Senior Associate attorney in the marital and family practice group at a prestigious boutique litigation firm based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Monica began her legal career as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Broward County, Florida, Dependency Division, where she gained extensive trial and courtroom experience.

Monica earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Florida International University where she was consistently on the Dean’s List. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received the Pro Bono Honors Award.

Monica is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.

Monica is fluent is fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
