Morgan & Morgan
Fort Myers Business Litigation Lawyer
Overview
Jonathan Huffman is an experienced complex commercial litigation attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Business Trial Group.
After earning an MBA from the University of Miami and a law degree from Indiana University, Mr. Huffman began his career at a defense litigation boutique in Indiana, where he gained substantial trial experience for a young attorney, working with renowned trial lawyers. He then spent the next seven years at a premier Jacksonville, Florida law firm, practicing commercial litigation. There, Mr. Huffman regularly had the privilege of handling a variety of significant matters, often involving millions of dollars, in Florida's state and federal courts, and before administrative bodies. In early 2015, Mr. Huffman transitioned to another respected Jacksonville firm to lead its Business Law practice group. Much of Mr. Huffman's experience is on the plaintiff's side, litigating and collecting large judgments against insurers, sophisticated corporate entities, and wealthy but reluctant debtors.
Morgan & Morgan's "success fee" (contingent fee) model means your claim will be evaluated according to its merit, not based upon your willingness or ability to pay exorbitant hourly fees. The beauty of the success fee model is that our interests are better aligned with yours. When we take action on your behalf, you can be sure we believed the action was absolutely necessary to pursue your recovery, because we do not get paid unless you make a recovery. Too often, under the traditional hourly billing model, the attorneys' fees paid by both sides at the end of the day should have been enough to settle the case twice, and neither side is happy. If you have a business claim that could benefit from the strength of Morgan & Morgan, and the collective expertise of its Business Trial Group, please call us.
