Attorney Information
Overview
Michael represents insurance carriers, third party administrators, and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and has conducted oral arguments before the 1st District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael graduated from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and served as a Russian Linguist for the United States Navy. He is a veteran of Desert Storm/Desert Shield and is a recipient of the Naval Achievement Medal. He has extensive experience in the construction industry working for his family’s business prior to law school. During law school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, he worked for a year as a judicial clerk under JCC Ohlman.
When Michael is not working he enjoys carpentry, playing the guitar and fishing. He and his wife Elizabeth spend much of their free time gardening or volunteering as temporary foster parents for a canine rescue agency in Lee County, Wee Waggin’ Rescue in Bonita Springs.
