I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional service provided by Rosenberg & Rosenberg. They helped my boyfriend’s mom with her case, and I can't thank them enough for their support and dedication. Jared, Paul, and David were all outstanding — professional, and attentive. They made a stressful situation much easier to navigate and kept us informed every step of the way. Highly recommend this firm to anyone seeking trustworthy and effective personal injury legal assistance.

Absolutely the worst attorney to hire for workers compensation claims. My attorney Robert kept insisting to settle my case prior to any doctors appointments or visits by a trained professional to make sure nothing more was occurring, instead they stalled my case . Every time, he and I spoke he never told me to go seek medical attention or informed me that I could go at the expense of the worker's compensation insurance provided by my previous employer. It wasn't until I terminated services-- I found out from the adjuster that none of the outstanding medical bills were even submitted on my behalf, and they failed to follow through with a motion to have the dismissal refilled to have the insurance company cover the hospital bills. Furthermore, Robert kept asking me to submit over and over gain, yet he NEVER even submitted them. Seems like to me, my interest wasn't being protected rather the insurance company was who they were working for. I can't comprehend how can I go into mediation w/out even disputing my care or the past due bills. Again, they're an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE firm. I only spoke with his assistant I don't even remember his title. Not sure he was an attorney or just a paralegal. Every time I caught him in a lie he proceeded to tell me Bobby has more experience in that area, so why is he not the one calling me!? Word of advise please follow up on your case, also look up your own documents online to see what the law firm you've hired is actually performing the work they're recouping or you'll end up in the rears, when your judgement is ready to settle, if they don't try and force you to settle for $5,000.00 . I'm so glad I got rid of them . This firm has been on my case since Dec of the accident , yet performed --one motion lol. Then I'm label difficult for questioning his work. Always remember to question the competency of your attorney as some only care about their bottom line and your. Never again!! Avoid Avoid Avoid. Absolutely love my new attorney, also Bobby ended receiving $1876 for work they didn't perform on case, just glad I got rid of them in time.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
