Board Certified in Marital and Family Law since 1995 - Board Certification is the highest form of recognition by the Florida Bar of competency and experience in an area of law. Recipients must pass a rigorous exam, be recommended by peers and judges and establish a record of experience by substantial participation in the field for a period of five years prior to the certification process. Certified attorneys are required to recertify every five years by showing continued substantial involvement in the field and recommendations by peers and judges.
Practicing in Brevard County since 1984 - Prior to opening her own practice in 1992 Julie Glocker Pierce worked for general practice firms and handled cases in construction litigation, personal injury, and commercial litigation as well as marital and family and probate cases. During law school Ms. Pierce worked for the trust tax division of a national bank. 1993/1994 adjunct professor of estate planning, probate and estate administration Brevard Community College; Pro Bono Attorney of the Year 2000; Member Vasser B.
