Attorney Information

Overview

Jason Siegel earned his law degree with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and also holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business from the University of Florida — proudly making him a “triple Gator.” While his loyalty to the Gators and Tim Tebow runs deep, Jason is equally proud to represent families from all backgrounds, including those who attended Florida State University, the University of Miami, and just about every other school with a rivalry against UF.

With more than 19 years of experience practicing law, Jason has helped thousands of individuals and families with estate planning, probate, and related matters throughout Florida. For Jason, estate planning is not just about producing documents — it is about meaningful conversations. He takes the time to sit down with families, listen carefully, and help them make thoughtful, informed decisions about how to protect the people they love during life and beyond.

Jason also believes strongly in being there when families need guidance the most. In the event of a client’s death or incapacity, he works closely with loved ones to explain the plan, guide them through the probate or trust administration process, and provide clarity during what can be an emotional and overwhelming time. Many families continue working with Jason across generations because they value having a trusted advisor who knows their story and is present when it truly matters.

Jason is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. He calls Port St. Lucie, Florida home, where he lives with his incredible wife, Ana, their creative and artistic daughter, Harper, and their son, Benjamin, whose curiosity, energy, and big personality keep Jason grounded, motivated, and constantly on his toes in the very best way. That family-first perspective shapes how Jason practices law — with empathy, patience, and a deep commitment to helping families create peace of mind.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
