Hired Law firm 2023LOCAL ATTORNEY, LOCAL ATTORNEY LOCAL ATTORNEY, LOCAL ATTORNEY I had the unfortunate experience of being stopped for a questionable DUI in the keys on vacation. Being from out of state I had no idea how the process works in Florida as well as the keys. My first reaction was to hire an expensive hot shot lawyer from the Miami area. (BIG MISTAKE ) The attorney was unprofessional and rude. After initially promising me a great outcome the attorney got nowhere and things were looking bleak. I decided to contact the some locals I know to inquire about other attorneys. Everybody I spoke to without hesitation referred me to the LAW OFFICE OF RICHARD E. WUNSCH a LOCAL ATTORNEY with close to 30 years of experience. After my initial consultation with Mr. Wunsch I fired the Miami attorney and immediately hired him. Mr Wunsch is extremely knowledgeable about the law and the LOCAL court system process. Also he is truly the most HONEST attorney I have ever dealt with. He was able to get the DUI charges against me DROPPED. I would HIGHLY recommend attorney Wunsch and his team. His assistant Maria was great keeping me informed about everything related to my case. She like attorney Wunsch are great people to have in your corner fighting for your rights. In closing if you find yourself in an unfortunate situation involving the law just hire the LAW OFFICE OF RICHARD E WUNSCH. He is the best attorney in the Florida keys period!!! Forever grateful James

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
