Hired Attorney 2024-2025Allstate hired Arielle K. Brandt from Evangelo, Brandt & Lippert, P.A. to represent me in an automotive case. 3 1/2 years went by with little action or closure. When Ms. Brandt got involved with her paralegal Danielle, we started making good progress and my case was settled out of court. We've all heard the term, Location, Location, Location. That was true in this case, if it were in any rural area of the country, the settlement would have purchased a 40 year old mobile home on a 1/2 acre of swamp land. Hired Attorney 2023-2024Allstate Insurance retained Nick Evangelo as my attorney, involving a lawsuit against me by notorious ambulance chaser, Dan Newlin and his fraudulent client. I was being sued for a "fender bender" (in which I had to be cited by the FHP for careless driving) thereby striking the vehicle ahead of me in the rear and causing relatively minor damage to both my vehicle and the vehicle of the complainant. Over the course of the next 15 months, Nick handled my case efficiently with the Dan Newlin attorneys while reassuring me that a settlement of $350,000 would not materialize against me. Final bottom line; the suit was finally settled for less than one-third of the claimant's demand and the case was closed with my insurance carrier, Allstate, paying this amount under my maximum liability coverage of $250,000. In summary, I was very pleased with Nick's down-to-earth conversations with me and his ongoing reassurances. I should also add that I was very impressed with Nick's paralegal and legal secretary, Danielle Gurnett, who frequently kept me apprised of the proceedings and answered all my questions in a timely manner.
