PAT T. DICESARE, II, born Lakeland, Florida, September 22, 1960; admitted to bar, 1986, Florida; 1989, U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida. Board Certified in Workers' Compensation (2000 to present). Education: Florida Southern College (B.S., cum laude, 1982); Stetson University (J.D., cum laude, 1986). Phi Theta Kappa; Pi Gamma Mu; Dana Scholar, Stetson University. Assistant Public Defender, 1986-1990. Awarded AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.

I am Board Certified by The Florida Bar in the field of Worker's Compensation since 2000. The Florida Bar has recognized me as a Worker's Compensation Specialist. I have been selected as a Super Lawyer in the field of Worker's Compensation by Thomson Reuters since 2011. I have the designation of AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell/Lexis Nexis. This is the highest possible ranking in the rigorous peer review process by Martindale-Hubbell. At least 10 years of experience is required. AV rating is recognized for having the highest levels of integrity and skill.

After graduating from law school in the top 10 of my class, I began working for the Public Defender's office in the Florida 10th Judicial Circuit. I represented criminal defendants for over 3 years handling various cases from misdemeanor up to capital felonies. I tried over 30 jury trials over the 3 years I practiced there.

In 1990, I began practicing in the field of Worker's Compensation and Personal Injury. Subsequently, I began practicing in the field of Social Security Disability. The Supreme Court of Florida has certified me as a Circuit Mediator since 2015.

Over the last 30+ years, I have represented thousands of injured workers and other litigants in disputed claims.

I am a member of Florida Workers Advocates, an organization that works tirelessly to improve the laws affecting injured workers. I am a long-term member of American Association for Justice. Additionally, I am a sustaining member of NOSSCR, National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives. I am a member of the Polk County Trial Lawyers and the Lakeland Bar Association.

I was born and educated in Lakeland, Florida. I have been married since 1989 and have 3 wonderful children. I recently became a proud grandfather.

I enjoy my work. When not working, I travel and love the outdoors.
