I have to say I was so lucky to find David Miller when I had a foreclosure pending. He was so helpful, patient and understanding. Always available to answer any questions I had and was on top of any deadlines. He is a pleasure to work with; plus he goes above and beyond without a thought. I would definitely do business with him again and for these reasons I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a R.E. attorney. Overall he is a genuinely a good sincere caring person. Thank you David for all of your help and time with my refi.We did it !!!

I cannot say enough about how fortunate we were to find David Miller to help with the sale of our family’s home. David was always available day or night. It was supposed to be a simple home sale and during the process David discovered some potential issues and immediately brought them to our attention. He helped my mother and myself even though he had never met us. He looked out for her best interest at all times and made us feel we were his number one priority. Working with David is like having an older brother watching out for us and protecting our interest as if it was his own family. I have dealt with other attorneys in my lifetime but have not had any of them be so dedicated and helpful in resolving such issues. He always made us feel that we were his sole clients and his top priority. He made sure my mother was protected from being taken advantage of in this situation. David was always very calm and collected. He made the entire family feel at ease knowing that he was on our side. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest and committed to his clients. I will certainly recommend him to all my family and friends with complete confidence. Words cannot express enough about what an incredible person and attorney David Miller is.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
