Austin K. David - Mary Esther, FL

Austin is a Louisiana native who recently moved to the Florida Panhandle following his graduation from Mississippi College: School of Law in May 2023. Prior to law school, Austin attended Louisiana State University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy.

During law school, Austin gained experience in Family Law, working as a Guardian Ad Litem for a period of one year. He also served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Justice David Ishee of the Mississippi Supreme Court.

Since graduating law school, Austin served as an Assistant Public Defender in Okaloosa County for just under two years. There, in addition to his normal caseload, he worked with the local Veteran’s Court Program to provide treatment and legal relief to Veteran’s with criminal cases in need of mental health treatment. Prior to joining Goodwin Law Group, Austin worked in insurance defense litigation for a short period of time.

Austin and his wife, Elizabeth, have lived in Navarre, FL, since their graduation from Mississippi College: School of Law in May 2023. While Austin is new to the area, he is thrilled to bring his knowledge, experience, and commitment to service to the Panhandle community by working with Goodwin Law Group to achieve their clients’ goals.
