Hired Law firm 2021-2023I got wrongly arrested back in 2021. Seth and Leslie treated me like family. Listened and understood me. They knew I was innocent and didn't settle until all charges were dropped. If you want someone who's passionate and dedicated about their work and YOUR life, I would highly recommended.

Hired Law firm 2022This isn’t how business should be done you got the money and seth hung the phone on me seth took my money and didn’t show up for my case in court I begged him to do his when he got paid in full his wife leslie cursed me out then that night he dropped me beaware he scammed me for my money! Now mid case I have to find a new lawyer I will be contacting the Florida bar to revoke his license. I have never seen a firm that steals money from their clients DO NOT RECOMMEND the second I asked for my partial refund he hung the phone up on me what awful business practice

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
