Overview

Alaina Rodriguez is an attorney at Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., where she focuses her practice on commercial and franchise litigation.

Ms. Rodriguez graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bethune-Cookman University on a NCAA Division I athletic scholarship. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Engineering. Recognizing her passion for business and entrepreneurship, she earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Pepperdine University. She then went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law on a merit scholarship, where she earned her Juris Doctor and graduated Cum Laude.

While in law school, Ms. Rodriguez served as an Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review and Treasurer for the Regulated Industries Legal Society. She was selected as a Deans Fellow for Professor Anthony Alfieri’s Civil Procedure course and participated in the Honorable Judge Bloom’s Judicial Intern Academy, where she presented oral argument before Judge Bloom. Ms. Rodriguez earned multiple Dean's Certificate of Achievement Awards and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, honors bestowed to the top performers in each course.

Prior to law school, Ms. Rodriguez taught A.P. Calculus at a prominent private school in Los Angeles, where she developed a keen ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences. She also founded and operated her own business while providing financial and operational management consulting to small business owners. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the challenges entrepreneurs face in building and sustaining their enterprises—from navigating operational complexities to managing financial pressures and making critical strategic decisions. This background uniquely positions Ms. Rodriguez to understand the real-world concerns of franchisees who have invested their capital and energy into building their businesses, and informs her approach to advocating for clients who are fighting to protect their investments and livelihoods.

Ms. Rodriguez began her legal career at Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A. in 2023 as a law clerk and continued with the firm throughout her time in law school. She became an associate in August 2025.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
