Overview
Andrew Jun focuses on assisting clients in various commercial matters, including corporate, finance, and M&A matters. Andrew has a wealth of experience working with financial institutions, investment advisers and investment funds, including private equity funds. He routinely serves domestic and international clients, including in cross-border transactions.
Andrew also frequently advises on all aspects of establishing a startup business, including the tax and legal structuring, service and other operational agreements, as well as any required legal and regulatory filings.
Andrew has a depth of experience assisting clients with their regulatory compliance obligations. Some of the regulatory areas that he has assisted clients in include securities regulation, anti-money laundering, as well as various business licensing requirements. Andrew has represented clients before government regulators and self-regulatory organizations, and often provided advice on how businesses should structure their internal operations for consistency with the applicable regulatory obligations.
Andrew graduated from Harvard Law School and has advised a large number of domestic and international clients. Prior to founding Jun Avila, Andrew worked at the Toronto offices of top-tier Canadian national law firms.
